Robert Butcher

Robert Butcher is a litigation media specialist and trial presentation expert with over 12 years of experience supporting attorneys in and out of the courtroom. As Lead Trial Technician and Legal Videographer and Owner of Professional Legal Video, he leads a team focused on delivering high-quality services including trial presentation, video depositions, day-in-the-life documentaries, site and aerial inspections, and demonstrative evidence production. Robert is an FAA-certified Part 107 UAV drone pilot and holds degrees and certifications in Graphic Design, Web Development, Legal Videography, and Trial Technology. He currently serves as President of the Colorado Professional Videographers Association and is a committed advocate for professional standards in courtroom presentation and litigation support. He also teaches at Red Rocks Community College, where he helps train the next generation of media professionals through hands-on instruction in visual storytelling, camera techniques, and trial media production. In addition, Robert contributes to statewide education initiatives as a member of multiple curriculum advisory boards. A long-time Colorado resident originally from Minneapolis, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife Julie, their four children, and three grandchildren. He finds joy in the outdoors—hiking, paddle boarding, and fishing—while continuing to pursue lifelong learning in his field.
